The cookout and hamfest were held on June 6- 7, 2025 at the Luce-West Mackinac County Fairgrounds located at 11555 N County Road 399, Newberry, MI. The fairgrounds are located right across the road from the Luce County Airport on County Road 399.
June 6, 2025 at 6:00PM - Cookout free to the public at the fairgrounds with hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, chips and pop provided by LARS. Overnight camping is permitted at the fairgrounds with a donation to the Luce-West Mackinac County Fairgrounds.
June 7, 2025 from 9:00AM to 12:00PM. The 2025 LARS Ham Fest. Once again, Tower Electronics from Green Bay, WI will be there. If you aren't familiar with them, check out their website at www.pl-259.com. They will have everything you see on their website on hand. The Luce-West Mackinac County Fair Board will have their cook shack open to supply food and refreshments. The cook shack is conveniently located right next to the building that the ham fest is held in.
