The Luce County Amateur Radio Emergency Service Net is held every Sunday evening at 1900 on the Luce Amateur Radio Service's repeater, 146.61mhz with a pl tone of 114.8. The alternate repeater is 147.39mhz with a pl tone of 114.8. When the net is held on the 146.61mhz repeater, the net can be accessed via EchoLink at KC8QZG-R, node number 727165.
The purpose of this net is to relay information that is of interest to amateur radio operators who assist with emergency communications within and around Luce County. We also assist with the training of local amateur radio operators to handle emergency communications.
All amateur radio operators are welcome and encouraged to check into this net even if you are not a member of the Amateur Radio Emergency Services.
